Thoughts
The following is a excerpt from my catalog of thoughts that I’ve written down over the years. When I feel the Holy Spirit tugging on my heart to put into words what He’s telling me, I go to my document of cataloged thoughts and I write them out to later read or share. Eventually I plan to turn them into a book. I pray that these bless you and give you a fresh perspective of God, one that gives Him glory and encourages us to obey and follow Jesus instead of the world. God Bless you
I think Dad was one of those people that saw life through a different lens than most, and I also believe that people could sense or see that his views on things were in such a way that even hearing him speak of them helped those who listened. Much like Jesus brought clarity to the views of the common folks, Dad did the same for the common folks that knew of his teachings and heart. I have come to believe in what I think I know Transcends to be. I believe I am my father on repeat, I believe that all life really is… I think we are often one soul broken into many as we plant seeds and watch life and minds grow around us. Are souls eternal or are they too something that is both over and over again much like the nutrients in the soil or the oxygen in the air. God speaks through me like a sports announcer through the arena sound system, loud and clear when the power is on and there's people in the stadium. But sometimes the power is off and I'm alone in the stadium, and how lonely it feels when we are in between games or seasons. God speaks when he needs to speak to me… Not when I feel I need him. God in my book is not what the teachings of the Bible depict him to be, but God is EVERYTHING the Bible says he is and more. See He isn't an entity, nor a soul, not an animal, nor anything mystical… God is literally the very essence of life itself. No words, feelings, pictures, etc can even come close to fully explaining what He is, it's not something capable of being understood. As much as our imaginations want us to believe we understand, we cannot truly understand and never will. We are not meant to, because that's not part of the existence of life, life is meant to be lived and to be passed on and that's really all that life is for… to carry on the stories of what was once nothing and God (life) made it something.
